Shortening Shuttles^® come in two styles

We have two styles of Shuttles depending upon your needs and budget.  The Simplicity series is the safest and easiest to use with no lifting required and works with any fryer and any style grease dumpster.  The Economy series is also easy to use and safer than buckets plus it's economical.  Both the Economy and Simplicity series  Shortening Shuttles^®  are made using a thick gauge Aluminum (0.101") with double walled seams.  

Economy series

 

        Durability and strength  that weighs only 24 pounds when empty.  The Economy series uses a perforated Baffle Screen to help prevent splashing and to catch large debris.  There are hardwood handles at both ends of the Shuttle to help minimize heat transfer, although we recommend the use of safety gloves when operating the unit.  There are currently 5 models to choose from depending upon the fryer's drain height and the grease dumpster's height.

 

Simplicity series

        This series also uses a hardwood handle but has a heavy duty cast iron hand pump.  The Shuttle Pump can be used with any fryer or dumpster, and there is no lifting required!  An 8" diameter strainer is used to catch large debris and there is a strainer at the end of the suction tube to prevent debris from clogging the pump.  The hand pump will pump out 90 lbs of oil in 3 to 5 minutes.  This model is ideal for narrow aisles and compact kitchens.  But, although is is easy to use, your employees must follow the instructions to avoid clogging the pump.
